How It Works

1. A magnet mount antenna on the roof receives your carrier's signal from the nearest tower, even when it's too weak for your phone to use
2. A small amplifier inside the vehicle boosts that signal up to the maximum gain the FCC allows for a mobile booster that works on every carrier at once
3. A low profile antenna inside broadcasts the boosted signal to the phones and hotspots in the vehicle

The system works the same way in reverse. The signal your phone sends gets boosted on its way out to the tower, and that's what keeps a call connected when the tower is miles away.

The XR needs some signal reaching your vehicle to begin with, so on the rare road where nothing comes in at all, there's nothing to boost. The way to find out about your own routes is to drive them with the booster running.
